iTunes Review
Kool G Rap is a true original. Arguably the godfather of Queens crime rap, he's a lyrical legend whose wordy street narratives have influenced countless rappers. From his early days with Marley Marl and DJ Polo, through his current status as a reclusive icon who still releases albums independently, he has remained true to his craft, reemerging every so often to bless us with his trademark, lisp-addled, machine-gun flows. 4,5,6 was released in 1995, and is a stark slice of ghetto commentary, breaking down the bloody realities of everyday life, set to distinctly NYC-flavored production from Dr. Butcher and Buckwild, among others. Much slower (BPM-wise) than his earlier material, it is short and to-the-point, with 11 tracks of hyper-visual felony rhymes and a few choice guest spots from Nas (on the excellent single "Fast Life") and MF Grimm ("Take Em To War" and "Money On The Brain"). Other winners include the slice of trife life reflections "It's A Shame" and "For Da Brothaz."

Great lyrical album
This is a CLASSIC lyrical album by no other than The Kool Genius of Rap. Kool G Rap has a perfected mafioso style on this album and every song proves this mafioso style talkin about dice a fast life and Money On his Brain. This album came out in '95 but is still LIVE today. The beats could b a bit better but they are still pretty solid. It also helps that he picked up NaS to do the song Fast Life where you will find Kool G Rap and NaS trading rhymes over a dope beat. Best Tracks: Fast Life ft. Nas Executioner Style It's A Shame 4,5,6 For Da Brothaz It's hard to pick out 5 Best Tracks because they are all equally amazing.
Classic
Kool G is easily in the top 5 alive. His constant unbeleavably large and creative vocabulary is what makes him, and this CD great. if u buy this CD, you wont be dissapointed, trust me. AZ once said, "Whos the most underrated? Kool G, AZ, and Jada" Which is very true. Buy this CD, you will love it.
