absolutely unique, absolutely fantastic
This album is without a doubt among the best of the genre. Furthermore, it is so different from drone that moves a bit more -- that of Robert Rich, for example -- that it is honestly hard to compare it in any meaningful way. In fact, this doesn't even sound like the same John Broaddus of Laocoon -- it is almost as if he went to some magical school in the otherworld and *really* learned how to layer chords. All I can say is that if you are a fan of ambient, and drone in particular, you must have this album.
