Worst Album
Yes has always been one of my favorite bands, Bruford and Howe being two of my biggest influences in my playing of drums and guitar (respectively). The first time I ever heard this album, however, I didn't even realize it was the same band: gone was the intelligent prog sound, and in its stead lay a generic 80's pop band; absent was the inventive drum parts (Alan White is no Bruford, but he is a great drummer in his own right, none of which shines on this album); gone was the incredible guitar-work of Howe. If you've never heard Yes before stay AWAY from this album (as well as Big Generators); I hate to be one of those people, but the band truly did "sellout" with this album. In an effort to get radio play they forsook everything that made their music so great. Listen to Fragile, Close to the Edge, The Yes Album But pass this one over
Almost Perfect!!
I love this album as much now as I did in '83...the only real "clunker" in my opinion is the remix of the incredible "Owner Of A Lonely Heart..." the original is such a classic...the remix ruins the song in my opinion....the rest is phenomenal!!!!

Just when you thought YES was fading out...BAM, this came out.. AWESOME ALBUM
