WELL DONE!
I was randomly listening to different groups and looking for a few new songs when I came upon this one. Had no idea who this was until I saw he was from Dishwalla. Not really a fan of them and dislike the name of the group. What the hell is a Dishwalla anyway and what is that supposed to mean? But I digress. However, this is an excellent collection of songs. The guy can really sing, knows how to arrange a song (or at least his producer does) and is a bit tender yet maintains its manliness, unlike many of the queer, wishy-washy "females in male clothing" putting out songs these days. I also like a few of the remix versions, such as Red Painted Walls. Nothing wrong with switching up your style every so often. Keep up the good work J.R. and never look back at the Dishwalla thing.
Where did this guy come from????
This album is really good, and some of it is great! The track Never Forgotten (along with a couple others) sounds a bit like U2. This guy writes his own stuff, which I really love. I'm just surprised that he's not getting more pop attention. His sound is very mainstream (not something I'm always crazy about), but it should translate into sales and fans. Somehow I bought this on iTunes before it was officially released so I'm already hooked on it.

I have been waiting for this to album to come out for awhile now. I am SO happy for J.R. and the work he did on this album. Beautiful music set to beautiful lyrics. What more could you ask for! Please pass along the info of this album to your friends. We need to make sure this guy keeps putting out records!!!!!
