Fabulous Songwriter
This album is a breath of fresh air in the modern-day overproduced, oversynthesized, under-talented and monotonous musical landscape. The music, lyrics and Scott's voice harken back to the great days of the wonderful rock and folk-rock songwriters who influenced a generation, like Van Morrison, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, and the like. The songs on this album are equal parts melodic, exciting and soul-soothing. The lyrics are mature and poetic, and we can all relate to their messages of living life to the fullest, growing up with happiness and dissappointments and always looking for a better life. A really fantastic debut!
Simply Awesome
This Album is really great. I love relaxing to the tunes, singing along to the songs and listening to the stories told through the lyrics. I truly enjoy each song on this CD. Musically it is just terrific and to add to that, I believe we can all relate to the lyrics written by Krokoff. In other words, He uses his talent to make excellent music and as a real nice added bonus, the songs are about real life and real feelings. I highly recommend this CD to anyone who loves music, You will not be disappointed with this purchase, it is money well spent. Enjoy. And thanks to Scott Krokoff for such a great CD.
Just Buy the Whole Album
Save yourself time, money, and the pain of trying to sample tons of songs before you find the right ones on which to spend your precious iTunes gift card... You've found it. Easy groove and smooth vocals make this the album to throw on at dinner, drive home to, or just pop on the iPod. My favorite songs are Friend in Need, A Better Life, Acid Rain, Holy Fire, (hmmm... I'm just starting to list them all... see I told you), Autumn Sky, and Do You Wanna Play. Awesome. :)
