A Deeper Lever Without a Doubt!!!

With each album, Israel & New Breed undergo tremendous growth so without a doubt this album is a non-formulaic dynamic step in a progression from previous albums but in no way a departure from their vision. It starts off in a much more subdued and reverential manner than the previous albums but is reflective of the gravity of the album’s message. I was initially somewhat concerned when I found this album was only 1 disc but I appreciate that it is a continuous unbroken experience. It is more introspective than previous albums and there are a lot of fades at the end of some of the slower songs because during the actual recording they flowed into a number of spontaneous worship moments that we will hopefully see on a Limited Edition CD or the DVD. They remain true to their multicultural sound but what is most powerful is the timely message and content of this album. Musically this album is par excellence and I highly recommend it to anyone because it has something for everyone. As always they sample a number of musical flavors and the mix is nevertheless well-balanced, not forced, because they’ve been doing this since “New Season”. They also incorporate some new musical aspects such as solo violinist Christa Black to add a definitive touch. On this go-around Jerry Harris helms the musical direction but Aaron Lindsey still contributes substantially. The whole album is SUPERB but gems include "Prayers of the Righteous", "Say So", "With Long Life", "I Will Search for You", "Deeper"...wait…just buy the whole thing and play it from START TO FINISH. There are very few artists in the industry that are truly able to express God's heart in their music. Israel and New Breed are a rarity and their anointing has allowed them to intertwine life-changing messages and beautiful melody to bless to people of God.
