I ran in to their ad on Facebook of all places...decided to give it a shot. I mean who can resist the cover art? Awesome! This duo from Singapore seem to have captured a Van Buren-esque modality while still infusing some interest. Their strength is clearly in vital progressions and electo arcs. They combine these well with clear vocals and shifting moods. FRONTIERS is probably my favorite of the bunch. The progression is clear and interesting, with a solid beat and some cool industrial notes. CROSS THE LINE has some delicious key changes. GREY features superb progression and viable melody. HERE AND AFTER is my least favorite...a bit repetitive for my tastes, but that's like asking a dog not to bark when dealing with trance. MARCHING OF THE DAYS has a unique playful melody, and features chatter throughout, which somehow enhances the playful feel of the song. The beat isn't as strong or as fast as the others, but that seems to work too! All in all, a great new band releasing some attractive sounds...hot on the heals of both Depeche Mode and Pet Shop Boys. Well done!
