The 4th and final record for the band.
DAWIN SANTIAGO- Vocals, JUNIOR ARMANDO- Vocals, NESTOR SANCHEZ- Coros, ADALBERTO SANTIAGO- Coros. There were many great bands that emerged in the 1970's. This band will always stand out because they came out of no where and recorded on a small independent label RICO RECORDS. This label was started by RALPH CARTAGENA to record salsa music. He was very much involved in recording and managing JOSE MIGUEL CLASS on the NELIZ label. See his posted music.
MUSIC TRIVIA: At a time when FANIA was king and controlled the market, Ralph managed to move on and succeed in FANIA's shadow. A remarkable accomplishment which was recognized by JERRY MASUCCI by offering Ralph partnership in a venture involving the purchase of TICO & ALEGRE. Ralph turned it down and started COMBO RECORDS. EL GRAN COMBO & JOHNNY VENTURA approached soon after. COMBO RECORDS continues to forge on decades later.
