The Reason For Music...
Songs like these are the reason for music. Introspection, melody, and passion are all ever-present in this release and you would be hard-pressed to find another band releasing songs of this caliber right now. One Less Reason gets compared to a lot of other bands, and the comparisons are pretty understandable -- except that I feel it should be other bands being compared to One Less Reason, because One Less Reason takes this type of music to another level. The lyrics and vocals are just so heartfelt and true, and the purity of emotion that is present in the music of OLR is what takes their music to an even higher level. This album contains some of their best songs from the other two albums plus quite a few new songs that are every bit as good as I had hoped they might be, after discovering this VASTLY underrated band after finding their first two albums on iTunes. This is a very powerful album that deserves tons of airplay and exposure, and I hope it gets just that. With a cover of the Cure's "Bloodflowers" as an unexpected but somehow PERFECT bonus at the end, how can you possibly go wrong?!? Thank you for my new favorite release of 2008!
Amazing!
I first discovered these guys on alternative addiction a couple years back. I'm so glad I went ahead and bought all their music here on iTunes. This is simply one of the best modern rock bands I've heard in a long time. You'll have a new favorite song every time you listen to this album.
Album of The Year
So far, this is the album of the year. If you like Daughtry, Nickleback, Shinedown, etc.. then you have to own this one. Do yourself a favor and buy this. You won't be sorry.
