Album Review
Recorded with a new backing band, A Little Ain't Enough doesn't feature the gonzo instrumental kick of Eat 'Em and Smile, nor is it a stab at popcraft like Skyscraper. Instead, it's an attempt to regain the energy that fueled Van Halen's early albums.
Customer Reviews
AWSOME
This album is tight. Very VHish tunes and sound. A underrated Roth album on par with Eat Em' & Smile. J Becker on guitar is outstanding, God Bless.
david lee roth, the original and best
first of all, david lee roth left van halen because alcoholics are not easy to deal with, and anyone who has had to deal with either of the van halen brothers will more than likely agree. second of all there is nothing but honesty in this record, many have tried to imitate dave, but noone ever could. if you want to hear a record that comes straight from the heart with blues rock power that pulls no punches pick this up, if you want to hear a cheap imitation of classic van halen, go listen to poison or any of the substandard crap van halen put out after 1986.
Here We go Again!
Diamond Dave has done it again. Although both he and Hagar have released solo albums, Dave's always seem to have more energy. A good buy for a fan of either Van Halen or Just David Lee Roth
