You guys Rock My world. Best Album yet
Looking 4 Somethang New???
Super Geek League is the best "LIVE" act hailing from Seattle these daze. The League serves up a combo platter of Metal, Funk, Prog, Rap & Punk with co-ed lead vocals. You can also hear traces of their forbears: Gong, Fishbone, Sky Cries Mary, Mr. Bungle -- just to name a few. Be warned this ain't no sensitive indie rock, these guys bring the RAWK! See them live if'n yous get the chance, you will have the time of your life! Seriously!

If Grace Jones and Annie Lennox each donated half an egg and then fertilized it with sperm from Fishbone and Mr. Bungle, you might get something resembling Super Geek League. Metal, Rap, Punk, Funk, Ska, Indie, Alternative, Jazz, R&B, and Prog;, these are some of the macro-genres of music that SGL draws from on their sophomore album, A Magic Castle Land. As an earlier reviewer said, if you like Fishbone, Mr. Bungle, Faith No More, Anthrax, or any other multi-genre band, you will LOVE Super Geek League. The band is at it's best when it relies heavily on their superb female lead and the wonderful horn section. However, don't overlook the rhythm section of the band either. Both bass and drums are welcomely dominant through out the album. Mix in some great guitar riffs, and the unique sound of the male lead and the band sounds best on songs like Sub Genius and Captain Tomorrow. Both songs have a grand, epic feel and feature superb vocals from Vy Agra, the female lead singer. Also check out Love Demon and Rust Within. You won't believe it's the same band. If you are looking for music that defies labels and actually rocks, BUY THIS ALBUM!
