dood dis gangsta thug writes some crazy good lyrics....it is a honor to listen to his majesty of coolness....i only wish i could be in his band cause he has a mohawk and hes cool....and he plays a telecaster!!!!!!!buy it cause its awsome
solid
TIm's latest album is solid. It has a smooth flow throughout and never bores. The lyrics drive the songs enough in-it-of-itself, but the musicianship is outstanding and therefore could carry its own weight! Together the lyrics, the music, and the vocals make for one of my favorite albums of 2007. I am also a nerd about visuals, and border on the ability (if we can call it that) to judge a book/album by its cover, and darn it all, the album cover is perfect. The cityscape is lovely while drawing out a sketch that allows for the freedom of expression one can have amidst the potentially mundane life we often come to know. My favorite song on the album is definitely "Recovery", but the rest are all incredible. Any more its hard to find an album you can drop onto the ol' iPod and BoseDock it up and play the whole album through. You can with this one. And be very glad that you did. Great Album.
A New Morning
These songs are honest and real. I particularly like Love Never Fails, Made It Through, Recovery, Everything She Needs, and Second Chance. Windows Down reminds me of my own youth and my boyfriend (now my husband of 32 years). The music is new and fresh, yet strikes a chord in my heart as I relate to the lyrics and sounds. Tim Wildsmith has a great future!!
