An Awesome Debut!
Idaho's A Rotterdam November has burst on the scene with an exceptional debut without the funding or distribution of a label, which makes their presence on radio charts remarkable. To place ARN in to any niche genre would be a mistake. With two lead guitars, and influences as diverse as blues-rock to experimental metal, the richness of the music would only classify this band as beautifully orchestrated rock. Jared Nelson's lyrics do not compromise their poetic integrity in order to be immediately accessible. Every time one listens to a track, a revealation of a new depth and sincerity that wasn't observed on first listen unveils itself. David McCormick's vocals are consistently graceful yet aggressive. I highly recommend this album. Can't wait to hear a sophomore release.
Amazazing!
Couldn't believe my ears...you know that shiver you get down your spine when you hear a good song? Well I got that with every song on this CD. This CD is a must get!
Am i Crazy?
These guys are Good. Flat out, no questions asked. Why in the world does tooth and nail not pick these guys up? They're right up their ally, and definately are worthy of and deserve a record deal. Let's see something happen!
