Sweet, not bitter
I stumbled upon this CD after spending an afternoon surfing iTunes. I'm so glad I did. The writing is so intentional and heartfelt. It paints a beautiful picture for the listener but still leaves room for the imagination. In that space for imagination I was able to connect my own life with the music. The production quality is bold and big, worthy of theaters built for acoustics. I'd like to know who this lead singer is. His voice is palpable. He sounds one with his words, as if he's lived them. His voice adds the right touch of rawness to a high quality sound. His voice keeps the big, bold sound grounded to humanity. Grounded to where I'm at. I really appreciate this album. I can't wait to learn more about the artists behind it.

Founded in Truth, this album is lyrically and musically full of POWER! This album ministered to me the first listen, but the depth and layers of rich music assure for many repeat listens. Kenneth Padgett is a budding songwriter whose musical creativity might be best described in two words: BIG and Beautiful. Do not miss this album.
