i first heard this wonderful, talented, (very easy to look at) young lady on acoustic long islands podcast. If you want some GREAT stuff to listen to, its ABBIE GARDNER!!!!!! She is also a member of Red Molly. Throaty, folksy, sexy, bluesy(is that a word?) she just breathes life into her music and has a fun, make you feel like she knows ya kind of stage personality. A must for the acoustic/coffehouse collecter.

Abbie Gardner is an excellent young singer who, due to her upbringing, sounds very comfortable performing vintage swing standards that were popular decades before her birth. She grew up around jazz since her father, pianist Herb Gardner, had played with Roy Eldridge and Gene Krupa. She played violin for a year, extensively studied classical flute, and today also plays guitar and Dobro.
