iTunes Review

Still going strong after 13 years, the members of Sister Hazel continue to polish their sound and tighten their grooves. On Absolutely, their sixth studio album, they play up their strengths, including strong harmony singing, memorable melodies, and pleasant interplay between acoustic and electric guitar. The lyrics sometimes drift into generic territory, but their skillfully crafted songs stand up because these guys are unusually good musicians. They're tasteful without being flashy, and equally capable of pulling off rockers like “Shame” and “Hey Hey” or a piano ballad such as “This Kind of Love.” They haven’t had a radio hit in a decade, but Sister Hazel has sustained the band by touring heavily and building up a loyal following. And unlike some touring bands that see the studio as a necessary evil, Sister Hazel seem to embrace it. They know how to make good albums, and Absolutely is one of their better efforts.

Have to admit, just found Sister Hazel and I LOVE this CD. It's great kick back music and easy to listen to. I never found anything under four stars! I then bought another CD of theirs, listened to it and found another one. I have to stop! but I think I'm a fan now.

one of their best yet!

well all their cds are insanely amazing but i LOVE this cd! i love every song on this one =] i like this cd because not only are there beautiful, melting songs like everything else disappears, but there are also lesson learners and make your heart think songs like tear by tear and where would you go. there are also fun up beat rockish songs like hey hey (my favourite =]) ,shame, and mandolin moon. its an awesome cd =] get it..you wont be disapointed! oh and also drew copeland does a song in it! its called This Kind Of Love. its really slow though but a cute song..its on their myspace.
