Wow! Very refrshing.
What a nice group of tunes. Smooth voice with a slightly ragged jazz edge on it. The instrumentation by the artist and her accompanying artists is a combination attempted by many, but accomplished by few. Must be the family connection because it is really loose feeling, but actually very tight. Blue-grassy without the hippie vibe that seems so common these days. They really pull it off.
I look forward to more recordings by Miss Keely. I'd love to catch a live show, as well, when she makes it over here to the east coast.

Megan Keely has been melting my heart since I first heard her voice
I first heard Megan play at my friend's 30th birthday party in a small little venue in Seattle, WA. From the first note of the first song she literally melted me with her voice. There she preformed Occupied by You, which she had written on the way to Seattle in the airport, her father and brother, picked up the cord structure in one play through, and to this day it was one of the most beautifully raw and capturing songs I've ever heard. After the show I asked her about the song and she told me when she wrote it she recorded it on her iPhone. I'm proud to say I had the first distributed version of Occupied by You. It is still one of my favorite songs. Megan is an accomplished artist and I still melt a little when I hear her sing. She has one of the most soothing and relaxing voices I've ever heard and am excited to see her continue to grow.
