this band never ceases to amaze me

and yet again, another brilliant compilation of fantastic songs from one of the best wizard rock bands around. even though they're some of the same songs we have all heard before, hearing them in this format is a whole new experience. it's like listening to the song for the first time again. you're missing out on some wonderful ear candy right here if you don't buy this cd ASAP. -Jen♥

I'm Getting That Happy Feeling Again.

You know the one where you think your heart might just explode? That's the one. These are just... Incredible. Just incredible. "Accio Love" made my heart rate go up about twenty beats per minute. No joke. It's that good. "Lovegood", which is one of my favorite of their songs, is also excellent. "I Heart Weasleys" is simply marvelous. "Veela Serenada" is beautiful, even if it does seem shallow. "A Phoenix Lament" sounds even better acoustic, because the original electriconicy-pop version just couldn't fit the beauty. "Ascendio" nearly made me cry. I'm serious. I was about to weep even during the thirty-second preview. "The Bravest Man I Ever Knew" is also better acoustic, even though it's not necessarily one of Ministry of Magic's best songs. I kinda wish they'd hade "Snape Vs. Snape" on here though, since that's their best song. I definitely recommend this. Even if you don't love Harry Potter, the music is beautiful. Buy it.

Lightning Struck Tower?

I LOVE this album and you guys in general. Seriously, words cannot describe how obsessed I am with your music. I basically listen to nothing else. My current obsession from your second album is A Phoenix Lament and Epilogue. I LOVE how the end of APL transitions seemlessly into Epilogue. SO KICKASS. And speaking of kickass, the song that is up on Myspace right now, the Lightning Struck Tower is an EPIC song. So where is it?!? I want it on my iPod so it can always be with me! Badly! REALLY badly! Please tell me hom to make this happen, or I may continue weeping into my sofa cushion as I am doing now.
