Capturing the magic
by Roe McCreadyLive albums are stereotypically a fair quality recording of a greatist hits set. The Trews have never been a group that falls into stereotypical categories though. This album is fantastic. The songs that you're familiar with have been re-invented, sometimes by the addition of a new instrument like Sean using a boron during Man of Two Minds, or Jeff's accordian additions on multiple songs (and yes, it works for this rock show). The new songs are great too. Locked Doors and Sing Your Heart Out are instant classics and fit seamlessly into the set of familiar favorites. I was at the second night in Glenn Gould and couldn't be happier with this album release. It completely captures the magic of the live show, which is the best way to see the Trews. Don't just take my word for it though, listen yourself. You won't regret it.
Amazing
by BDCDOk so at first I was a bit mad because I had waited so long for this album to come out and woke up at 5 only to find out that it was mostly old songs that had already come out. But once I listened to it my mind changed. This is some amazing music. Buy it
