This music came into my life at moment I needed it. It gave me something to sing to and someone to look up to. When I was to go one way or the other in life. This album helped me find courage. Just keep believing in life, you and others the rest will fall into place. India's amazing as a person and as an artist. This is truly an inspiring album. When I listen to it, it makes me look at the person I am, who I'd like to be, and I know I should be, and all the things I've missed out on because of fear.
Back to the Middle
This album is awesome; each and every song is perfection. Try Promises and Back to the Middle; then listen to them all. India Arie transends this world.
Soul... It's Neccesary.
What other album has made me think of how I treat others, how I am treated, and how I treat myself? Only a few.. (Thank you Stevie, Amel, Mos Def, Candi Staton, Etta & the Bee Gees... etc) India Arie Is STRONG in voice, character, & communication. ( & I haven't even met the lady!?!)
