An Amazing Follow-Up

Their 1st album is the best album ever. This is the 2nd. While this album is more alternative sounding than Act 1, this is still one of the most beautiful albums ever. My favorite album of 2007 Track by track ratings: 1. "Theme from the Blood and the Life Eternal" - 7/10. Like I said in my review of Linkin Park's Reanimation, instrumentals are sweet. Everyone knows that. 2. "Dove Coloured Sky" - 8/10. Jimmy Gneco returns with another great song. 3. "The Living" - 10/10. Great lyrics and bulidup to the end. One of the best on here 4. "The World Is Darker" - 10/10. Great electro/rocker that would fit right in on radio. I believe this might be the next singe, which really it sould be. 5. "My Life Without Me" - 9/10 The first song on here that could have been on act 1. That already makes it amazing 6. "Miss World" - 8/10. Holy crap, they've covered Hole. the first song that mastermind Daniel Victor sings on, and it fits right in with the theme to the album. 7. "The Warning" - 8/10. The opening sounds like "Of All The Things You've Done Wrong" on Act 1. So in other words, it's beautiful. 8. "Always" - 10/10. The lead single. One of the most radio-friendly on album and 2nd on sung by Daniel. 9. "Where We Are" - 10/10 - Perfect song for radio. It's where it belongs. 10. "Black Is The Colour Of My True Love's Heart" - 9/10. Piano based duet between Lexi Valentine of Magenta Lane and Daniel. Beautiful 11. "Bleeds To An End" - 10/10. The most ambient song on the album. Daniel song #4. 12. "Nothing I Can Save" - 10/10. Should be in Rock Band. Daniel's final song. 13 "Distance" - 6/10. My least favorite song on here. Sorry Aqualung, but it's kinda missing something. 14. "Last Of The Great Lovers" - 15/10. Best Song on here. Starts out with only piano and strings, toward the end the guitars and drums kick in, giving this song an amazing feel. Sune Rose Wagner's vocals are perfect for this song. 15. "Warding Off The Spirts" - 10/10 Great ending, but repetive. Who Cares? Buy this. You will not regret it. No all we need to do is get them on an American label and get them on the radio. I'm not liking being the only person in my school (Center Line High School in Michigan) who has heard of them.

Wow - what an experience

My best friend originally turned me on to NWL, when their (his?) first album came out. I always thought of it as desperate, sad, intense music, and I liked it very much. Now, this album arrived on iTunes, and I am far from disappointed. Overall, a deeply personal album that will move you inside. Well worth any price for the experience.

NWL Never lets you down!

I didn't even realize they came out with a new album until today when i saw their new music video on youtube. i love the new album!
