Greatness- an album that belongs to the 70's soul scene
First and Foremost My favorite era of Music comings from the 70's. Which featured the live percussion, Electronic funk and more. THe ADESIJI album has soo much soul with in it from all parts of the world. The delivery of the lyrics are honest and passionate. The Production is out standing I liken it to the Days of Stevie Wonder in the 70's. The music industry must start to pay attention to great music not just the easy sale of dumbed down music. Siji is an artist that must be reviewed at a grandier level. Purchase the whole album the hear the sound of all forms of Soul. There is the sounds of Herbie Hancock, Fela, Stevie, Marvin, and many others in this CLASSIC album. Buy it and enjoy.
Solid Album
This album is pretty solid.The production is well done and the song writing is top notch. The fusion of african and soul is a nice touch as well
Got me yearning for home
As an African living in the diaspora, this is exactly what I need to remind me others relate to my experience. Siji reflects Jazz and soul influences without deserting his Nigerian roots.
