an amazing soundtrack
I highly recommend this soundtrack. The only thing is there were 41 total songs in the movie, but this is pretty much the best ones. The opening song Bastards of Young needs to be put on here, but its availible on ITunes, so it can be purchased easily from them. To AZProfessor, though, not trying to be mean, but YOU wise up and pay attention. Some of these songs are still being played today, in 2009, some TWENTY YEARS OR MORE after they were made. The fact the movie was set in 1987 and some of the songs were from 1982 is of no matter. AZProfessor you clearly don't get what is going on here. its just music in the background. Heaven forbid a song be in there that was made BEFORE 1987! Get real dude... But the music is AWESOME stuff if I do say so myself!!!! Go get it!
Awesome
The movie is absolutely amazing. Seriously, I've seen it multiple times, and it just evokes everything that growing up is all about...pain, love, joy, humor, uncertainty. The soundtrack is literally one of the best...I never knew this music that I grew up with could be used so well. Go see the movie, click that little silver button and buy the soundtrack. Seriously, you won't regret it.
Adventureland Sountrack=80s fun!
This soundtrack has a unique blend of songs from the 80s. The 80s were said to be the worst time of music in history, but the Adventureland soundtrack disproves that. Classics like David Bowie's Moden Love and Lou Reed's Satellite of Love will take you back to that time when you were a kid growing up in the eighties. If you didn't grow up in the eighties, listening to this soundtrack will take you back through time in music and make you feel like you were a teenager doing all of those crazy things at Adventureland.
