excellent record
subtle and directed.
Instrumental Sound Breaking
This album hones Slint down to it's most essential and highlights Pajo's incredible guitar work. Never what you would expect to find in a melody but beautiful none the less. The dissonance creates the kind of tension and angst that most lazy musicians rely on distortion for. Clean crisp guitar work with interesting rhythm. This album teaches me what I need to be doing with my own guitar work.

Aerial M was the alias of multi-instrumentalist David Pajo, a seminal figure in the development of the post-rock aesthetic whose tenures in bands including Slint and Tortoise set the stage for some of the most innovative and influential music of recent decades.
