Passport to decades of music
This album, like the others in the series, takes the long view of Guinean music in the 20th century, from music inspired by blues (Kadia Blues) or bossa nova (Minawa) to the Afropop sounds of griot Amadou Sodia. This is a fantastic introduction to the music of this small, but productive, W African nation!
