when it all comes together
Courtney Brocks' voice is a natural beauty. When i listen to her i feel like i've been let in on a secret.
Thoughtful Music Great Talent
This little ep starts by whispering to you and very quickly grows loud. The continuity from track to track on the record ties the traveling themes (both emotional and physical) together seemlessly. There are keen emotional observations in these songs that make you feel as if you are sitting with the artist observing quietly while she takes you through her perspective. In these times when there seems to be a singer songwriter with a record on every corner or every street, this record takes me to a very unique and valid creative place. It is filled with a mature sense melody and Courtney's excellent musicianship. I can't wait for the next record already!
