Bag of Toys has demonstrated a rare ability to put forth a sophomore album that exceeds already lofty expectations in nearly every way. It builds upon a fun, relaxed, and honest first effort - with more complex arrangements, a tighter and more refined sound, and great lyrics! Well done! Ohh la la @ afternooner!
Although I'm already a fan of reggae-rock bands, and admittedley I already own their debut album "Nooner", I think that "Afternooner" is a high-quality follow-up for Bag of Toys. My only wish is that Bag of Toys would perform in Orlando, Florida at the University of Central Florida! Bag of Toys presents here some sounds that we've already become familiar with from "Nooner", and adds some flavorful new beats. Many of the themes presented in "Afternooner" are similar yet presented in a more mature way.
Best CD name ever
If you like the Bag of Toys first CD youll love this one! Same goes for if your a fan of Jack Johnson or Sublime. Great toons and awsome cd name, keep it up guys!
