Louis is a true artist. Each of his albums is hauntingly beautiful. He creates soundscapes that make you feel. The album tells a story which transcends each individual piece and instead is best seen as many elements of the human condition. The songs evoke feelings like love, nostalgia, isolation (not the pessimistic kind....the pale blue dot kind), but tap into them in a very primal way. This is true "soul music." It's at once Ambient and catchy. Bravely experimental, but with an emotional core that should feel all to familiar to any living breathing human being. The music has sounds that I love, and yet they come together here unlike anything i've heard before.

I can't wait until Louis Cole is famous, not because it will make him any more of an artist, but beacuse it will mean that more people will have the opportunity to be affected by his amazing music. Thanks a lot for sharing your gift with us. Don't ever stop.
