Kiss Alive III
The live versions of Creatures of The Night, I just Wanna, Heaven's On Fire, and I Was Made For Lovin' You just rock!
3 and a half stars?
How does this album have a 3 and a half star rating? it is their greatest album along with Revenge to me, even if they are overdubbed it to sound flawless. If you want perfect sounding songs buy this album. All the songs sound a million times better than the studio versions.
It's obviously not live.
First off, I love KISS, but I am also their biggest critic. This is not a live album, and anyone who thinks that it is is foolish. They supposedly recorded this album at 3 shows in Detroit, Indianapolis and Cleveland. It has been documented that fans who attended these shows felt they were some of the worst performances by KISS they'd ever seen. I myself have seen the bootleg video of the Detroit show and it sounds nothing like Alive III, with numerous screw-ups. This album was most likely recorded at soundcheck w/ the audience dubbed in later. It just sounds too polished.
