From a big fan...
I honestly am kind of dissappointed with this album. The Witness as an album was great, it had some great guitar in it and alot of songs that were a bit hard rock-ish. This album really doesnt bring out Under the Floods full potential, I think, in terms of vocals and guitar. The vocals in this album are all kind of "soft" and and "gravity" is about the only song you can just rock out to. In the meantime, ill keep The Witness playing. Maybe I'll come back to this album at another time...
Great rock album!!!!
This is by far, in my opinion, this is one of the best albums of 2010. Some might think that the lack of heaviness is a downfall of this album but I have to go with this is a plus with this album. It helps show that the band is growing and reaching out to try newer things and different sounds. This is a MUST BUY album.
Not the first but still good
The first album had you from song one to the very end this album takes one or two listens then you get the hang of it. They haven't gone soft at all they just grew and it's all been done before which makes song writing difficult (trust me i know)!
