All Beauty Must Die

The best CD sofar from Krypteria. Every song has it's special it. If you want scary and classie you will not be disapointed with" The Eye Collector" If you want two sexy Ladys " Victoria " with Doro as guestsinger, is your song. No matter what song, this is a must have CD that rocks you from the beginning to the end.

Terribly disappointing

I have never been a diehard fan of Krypteria, but I enjoyed (most of) their previous two albums a lot and felt the band deserved more popularity than they had. They were catchy, energetic, heavy, and fun. But this album just doesn't work for me at all. I can't really put my finger on what's wrong except to say I think in their quest to become ever heavier, they've lost the quality that made their music special. This could be an album created by any female-fronted metal band. Even the new version of "Get the Hell out of My Way" can't hold my interest, and I love the original version of that song. Maybe it was the epic cheesiness that drew me to the band in the first place? This album *is* less cheesy than previous albums, for what it's worth.

Oh, but if they recorded all of Movement III of Beethoven's "Moonlight" Sonata with piano and guitars instead of just a snippet, I would totally dig that. Best part of the album.
