It doesn’t get any better then this!
It doesn't get any better then this, or more real. Eric Himan is a breath of fresh air. I believe this is his third album but there is no "freshman slump" here, just honest songs that radiate warmth and compassion. Eric writes with a power and wisdom that seem far beyond his "twenty something" age. "One Night Stands" is in your face commentary on promiscuity and all of its heartbreak. "My Decision" is a first person account of date rape that is so chilling, I hope it is "just a song" and not the recollection of a real experience. "The Outskirts of You", "Everytime", and "On The Drive" are powerful and beautiful songs that speak to a multitude of human emotions. As for "Luxury's Definition", well that is listening to Eric sing. I don't know if the world is ready for this kind of brutal honesty, but I know I am.
