Vocal in the front and center
In his debut album, Anoop Desai does something very few pop-R&B artists would dare to attempt - to craft an entire album with his richly toned, booming vocal in the front and center. Unlike so many of its contemporaries, the production in this album is rather understated, even minimalist at times. Instead of flashy production and excessive bells and whistles, Desai's booming voice are intricately layered to hold the entire album together in a simply commanding, yet extremely sensual, manner. This album is for those of us who have been longing for a return of rich, yet contemporary pop-R&B voice on our iPods as well as on the radio.
The strongest album ever made by an AI contestant
Anoop deserves all the succces he´ll have,this album is amazing from track 1 to 8, no doubts he is better without a big label, this album is the strongest debut ever made, Go Anoop!!
Anoop's "All is Fair" is All that Wonderful
Anoop Desai may have come tied for sixth place last year on American Idol, but his strong and melodic voice and R&B stylings are perfectly showcased in the "All is Fair" EP. From the catchy bangra-flavored R&B jam "My Name" to the soaring ballad "Lost and Found" and the Ne-Yo-esque "All is Fair (Crazy Love)", Anoop proves that he's got true potential as a classic Idol success story.
