Blessid Union IS NOT DEAD!! :)
by 719BlessidBoyJust wanted to let people know who might read these reviews and wonder what some of the smack-talk is about, unfortunately Jeff Pence, former guitarist and co-founder has left the band, and has created his own band, which he is also calling Blessid Union of Souls. I can tell you that Eliot Sloan is a great human being, who cares about the bands fans, and is an amazing talent! For authentic BUOS songs and webpages, make sure Eliot Sloans' (co-founder, lead singer) name is on it!
NOW.... as far as the album is concerned! It's an awesome, "unplugged" version of a few of their songs. I really dig the stories behind the songs, and the cover of "Everything I Own" is beautiful!

by OleyomoleyoWhat can I say. I have followed this group from the beginning. There is no doubt that they are truly blessed. Its rare that a band can repetetively produce the quality of music that this one has, album after album! This latest, though its songs we already know, falls in line with Blessid Unions history of proving that they always have and still do have what it takes to keep on keeping on!
