Well worth the wait

Michael Grubbs and his band put blood, sweat and tears into this album and it shines through. From the intriguing opening track, "Almost Everything", to the final "Take It Like A Man," each song flows into the next while delivering its own part of the story. The album's masterpiece is "1876 - The Brooklyn Theatre Fire," with the sound of crackling flames heard at the beginning and end of the song. This is one album that will remain on my recently played list for a long time to come. I can't wait to see what Wakey!Wakey! puts out next.

One Tree Hill turned me on to Wakey! Wakey! This album is well worth every cent! I love it!!!

amazing wakey!

When first hearing these songs on One Tree Hill I knew I had to have them and find out more about this band. This is not the type of music I normally listen to but there is something about the passion and emotion of Grubbs that gets to me. These songs are so emotional and deep. This is my new fav cd. Just listened to the whole thing straight through without stopping. Great group and I can't wait to hear their next album!
