FIRST REVIEW BRAH
I ANDREW A. HAVE MADE THE OFFICIAL FIRST REVIEW OF THIS ALBUM (on itunes). As a fellow islander i have come to respect the type of music that kaleo has so graciously given our ears. This album is more of a somewhat "jazzy" album in my opinion, very chill, very lax. So sit back in your chair watch the surf and drink hawaiian sun lillikoi. RESPECT 808
Jazz meets Aloha
This is one of the most refreshing albums I have listened to in a while. Kaleo brings a smooth jazzy feel with a local island style and you can feel the passion in his songs, for most of them are about love. If you are searching for a fresh new style and can respect a true musician, Kaleo's "Aloha Monday" is the album for you. I have been fortunate to see him in concert as well, and he is definitely one to catch live! ALOHA
It's about time you went Mainstream!
I listened to this guy when i was in Maui back in 2006. I personally sent him a check so he could send me his 1st album "unrequited" which is also really good by the way. Too bad that one isn't in itunes either. Anyways, the fusion of jazz/acoustic/island is second to none. Every song has a great story behind it. I love every track. Keep up the good work. Let us know on your myspace when you'll be in Northern California. I'm a big fan! Gerald
