Great ACL show

I saw them live at ACL and it was AMAZING! We heard them as we were walking in and were drawn to the sound of their voices. Truly breathtaking live, so I bought the cd. Love it. It's very soothing, so I listen to it at night.

IF YOU GET A CHANCE TO SEE THEM PLAY LIVE: DO IT!

A delicious mix of chanting vocals (apparently from the all-grown-up creepy twins from The Shining) and danceable polyrhythms with a melancholy feel. An original sound with hints of My Bloody Valentine shoegaze without the fuzz, Ladytron with a warmer edge, Cocteau Twins with punch. Admiarble understated guitar work by Ben Curtis after jumping the unfortunate sinking ship that is The Secret Machines. Check it out - you'll like it. Can't wait for their next effort, hope it goes tougher (like Wired For Light), not twee.
