Customer Reviews
Well...
The last person to review this album hated it...then why did he buy it. This album is good not great but good its nice to relax to. It puts an old spin on some newer favorites.
You are old.
It is very sweet and kind and polite how so many people have given this collection an A for effort. Nonethless, there is a name for this sort of thing. It is called elevator music. If you find yourself thinking... "Gee I could just relax with a nice glass of merlot by the fire and..." RESIST! That is the sound of you getting OLD. Get a beer. Turn on the real deal. In fact, ask your teenage neighbor what he/she is listening to and get that instead. Young is a state of mind! Death to elevator music! (I only gave one extra star above one because we are dealing with the Royal Philharmonic and I'm not a *complete* philistine.)
Covers with Color
If you like to mix up your flavors of music, you'll love this. If you a sense of humor, you'll get a kick. If you have friends with a sense of humor, they'll appreciate this. This is Scala/London Philharmonic/Here Comes el Son/Any cover of Bohemian Rhapsody/Wierd Al/etc. The compilation is great and currently going for $5.99 for 15 songs. Eat it up!
