3LF's new album is amazing!

You can hear the maturity and development in every song! These dudes just keep getting better! Album is on repeat for daysss

Very Interesting Sound

I usually check the reggae new releases because I'm such a huge fan of the genre-especially roots reggae. Never heard of these guys. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I really dig their sound. Its really difficult to define. But it sounds great-and that is all that matters. Very eclectic sound-rocky but not rock, groovy but not groove, reggae but very modern sound. If you are a fan of reggae-rockers-ragamuffin-DJ-alt-rock-you should give a listen. Its very hard to find something that sounds "new". I think you'll find it here.

New Directions…New Band…

TLF took a very different direction on this album. Previous albums, both released and unreleased on iTunes had a more soulful sound and seemed to be produced from the heart of music, not the heart of a want-to-be breakout pop band. There is a really interesting article/review about this album on thePier that I read previous to the release and now I completely disagree. TLF made a giant leap and changed the sound of their music from what previous fans liked and listened to and they moved it to an over-produced over synthesized pop album. It is as if they were trying to have more of their music played on mainstream radio but they fell short of what mainstream radio would be willing to play. They are not a hip-hop band nor a female pop singer, so I am not sure who or what steered them in the direction that they went with this album. I will give it to them that Vertigo is a good song, written and produced at a B+, but that is about the only worth while song on here. Please take it from several local and continental fans, your old sound was better and more from the heart that a sound that is more from a studio with a guy pushing buttons and telling you to add this….
