Customer Reviews

Outstanding, and I have fine taste.

I consider myself to be somewhat of an a cappella buff, and I try to sample most a cappella albums that are released. I was almost losing hope in the genre, submerged in a quagmire of mediocrity stemming from poor arrangements, over-production and collegiate hurriedness. Enter 'Amalgamation'!

The song choices are fantastic, and an accomplished listener (like me) will note the perfect level of production--not so raw as to sound live, but not so polished as to sound mechanical. The arrangements of each track are intricate enough that even a tenth listen yields surprises. The vocal percussion disappoints not, and can only be described as 'spicy'. The urgent yet delicate solos weave a story of love and loss, and by its end, you will feel as if you've known those behind Amalgamation all their lives.

If anyone is to desire a more detailed review, feel free to join me for a swallow of an expensive 60-year scotch. I, of course, demand nothing but the best, and am for once not underwhelmed.

Amateurs they

This is great guys. I really love the music and appreciate a good collegiate acappella group. Keep up the good work!
