Jackie has a long successful career ahead- Watch!
I was introduced to Jackie Greene's music while he was on tour as frontman for Phil Lesh and Friends playing mostly Grateful Dead tunes as well as some of his originals too. Us Dead fans were really taken back by his talent. He took old classics originally sung by Garcia and I know Jerry was up there smiling. I'm sure Jackie Greene will see a lot more new faces at his shows in the future after his Phil Lesh tour. And if you are a Jackie Greene fan already and can get to one of the remaining Phil Lesh shows- do it, you will be in for a treat! I can't imagine how his talent will develop if he is this good at such a young age...

jackie greene is an old soul ion a young body - a good arguyment for re-incarnation. suprised this album hasn't reached more people but in today's world of POP i guess that's how it goes. This is an authentic american rock record with splashes of the dustbowl and grapes of wrath thrown in for good measure. If you're a fan of great songs and great musicians you'll love it
amazing talent
Just saw Jackie perform at the "Magic City Blues Festival" in Billings, Montana 8.12.06 and he absolutly knocked everyone out, he rocked the show and, i'm sure ,picked up a whole bunch of new fans, he looked like a young Bob Dylan but what an old soul this young man has. He sold me with the song "Hollywood" from this new album . I now own all his music ! See him live, it's a treat! Support live music!
