Seen these guys on accident Fan for life!
I was at a local club one night and Ventana was playing as well. Never heard of them before this night and they blew me away instantly. Picked up the Album on Itunes and hard copy..Amazing Record from start to finish!!! There are some filler songs but who doesn't have that. Good to see that there are still artists like this out in the music scene... Good luck guys and hope to see a new record sometime soon!
You've heard of them before...
...Just not as Ventana. Several of the members (at least) are also members of Mushroomhead.
While I don't really think this album is quite as good as Mushroomhead's Savior Sorrow, it's really good none the less. Ventana kind of steps away from Mushroomhead's hardcore metal sound into a vicious, hardcore industrial/metal sound that is pretty much unique to them. Some of the best from this album are Stress Related, The Dying Sound, and the cover of Cry Little Sister from the Lost Boys soundtrack. Watch Us Burn (from the Saw VI soundtrack) is pretty good too.
If you like Mushroomhead, you'll like Ventana.
