Fantastic Debut!

The Wonderstucks is the type of music you simply can’t find anymore. Music that reminds you what it was like when you first cruised down main street in your small hometown as the cool night air danced across your face. I promise, you’re gonna’ yea-yea-yea, whoa-whoa-whoa, and clap-clap-clap till the wee morning hours!

Catchy, poppy tunes that take you back to an awkward youth.

The Wonderstrucks bring us an album full of fun rock songs with catchy, poppy choruses. With a song about having your girlfriend stolen by Gene Simmons, wanting to have all of "Charlie's Girls", a song honoring all that is great about rock songs and a geek love anthem, this is a solid hit square in the hearts and minds of geeks and rock nerds everywhere.

Exactly what you would expect...

...from a man who can pontificate for hours upon hours of the complexity and perfection of "That Thing You Do," all the while making it perfectly clear that it is, despite all else, a pop song. Unabashedly poppy, catchy, and rocking songs from an amazingly talented bunch of Portland musicians. A mixture of what Rick Emerson fans will recognize as some of his favorite music and influences, all mixed into five tracks of musical goodness. Quality stuff, and especially worthy of listening to with the top down on the car, and the sun shining above. Attention FM DJs, your next big Portland band, begins now!
