all im going to simply say it everysong here never gets old and everyone is completely different. Though ive seen people call this album death metal, its not. If anything, its just really heavy metalcore. Though songs like Angel Maker definately is heavier than most death metal out there. Get this whole album, one of my favorite albums of all time
Excellent Boston Metal!!!
I grew in Massachusetts, and still currently live here, so I can't help but being up to date with Mass Metal. These guys were unbelievable!! Unfortunately they've broken up since this album. I highly recommend them to anyone who likes metal whatsoever. These guys are very key-oriented, and the timing change ups are awesome. The guitarists are both on their own great, but work even better together. Give these guys a listen, and you'll quickly see that they're all great musicians. The singer currently sings for my buddy's band Acaro. They're very good also. My personal favorites are the first three songs, but the entire album is sure to impress. They're brutality is nicely accompanied by blast beats, awesome clean choruses, and gloomy, dark sounding synths. Definitely some nice black metal sections too, especially towards the end of the last song "World of Regret". Excellent all around!! Buy this album, you will not regret it!
The Best Album I Own
I am extremely disappointed that this band broke up after releasing just this one album but this album is unbelievable. A must have for any metalhead, not a bad song on the cd. One of the only bands that have managed to make a cd that I will never tire of. I don't care if your into death metal or more commercial mainstream metal, you'll love something about this cd. Highest recomended songs would be Lines From the Epitaph, Embrace the Plague and Judging Hope. Give those songs a listen and I gaurantee that if you like metal you will love those songs and the rest of the cd.
