A True Prog-Lover's Wet Dream
Who could forget the first time they listened to the solemn opening chords of Pigs On The Wing, Pt. 1? Who could forget the first time their jaw hit the floor when they heard the haunting opening chords of Dogs? Who could forget the first time they experienced the sensational middle section of Pigs (Three Different Ones), or the first time they sped down the highway - waving in and between the law-abiding drivers of the road - at 90mph blasting Sheep?! This diehard Floydian does not, and I'm about to do it all again with these stellar 2011 Remasters!

The Most Underrated Album of All Time
Some dogs, some pigs, and a sheep expose the darkest sides of humanity. A true classic that's completely under-appreciated. It just doesn't get much deeper and darker than this.
This IS Pink Floyd
Animals and Meddle are two of Floyd's greatest works.
Dark Side and later The Wall made them rich but these two albums made them Pink Floyd. Still remember sitting in a room and listening to them on vinyl. All the subtle sounds and the lyrics mixed with the tremendous musical arrangement. Nothing else like it and may never be again. Does anyone else remember their dog cocking his head or barking during Dogs?
