by moonferretI can't say enough great stuff about Barleyjuice. This album is tons of fun, with my particular favorites being "What's Up Yours" and "Whiskey to the Sea." What's up Yours tips its hat to the old tune "Follow me up to Carlow", but spins it in a new, jump-up-and-down-with-Guiness-in-hand sort of way. Check out the video on Barleyjuice's site. Kyf Brewer, the lead singer, has a great range with his voice, going from the low and gravelly on "Whiskey to the Sea" to a higher range on other songs. Get this CD for anyone with any sort of Celtic ancestry or a potential drinking problem... :-) OR get it for anyone who likes to just jump up and down a lot. If you like the Pogues, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, or Seven Nations, you'll like these guys. A lot.
