The good keeps getting better and better
his music is that of an artist with great lyrics and sound. We love his performances and check him out almost every week. He has range and ability to do any kind of music. So enjoyable. The east coast needs his touch! Gypsy lady and Getaway!
A feel-good album with true depth
After a long time since his EP, JB Barnett introduces himself to the world with his first full album. This is an outstanding debut, displaying not only a feel-good summer album with 'St. Peter' and the 'the Getaway' - but a passion and depth many songwriters miss. 'Peter Pan' is an exceptional song written from the heart - 'Floating', originally on his EP, is truly one of those great songs that you'll just sit back and forget your cares. Take a listen for yourself, its more than worth the listen.
Makes me wish I was on a beach...
JB just keeps getting better and better--live and on record. Gypsy Lady has a sweet hook and groove to kick the album off, and from there it really makes you want to kick off your shoes and walk barefoot on a beach. His lyrics are always clever and make you think, while the melodies and guitar riffs dance in your head for days (I'm pretty sure "Floating" has been stuck in my head since the EP came out). Great addition to any music library.
