Def the next big thing!!

I had the priveledge of seeing these guys live and i had never heard a band so good... i bought anywhere but here there and basically only listened to those 5 songs for 3-4 wks straight... their ep is really well put together and this is def the best unsigned band out there... and in my opinion the best band out there... they are very similar to Cartel, but much better in my opinion... and i love cartel... theyve got a real unique sound to them, and the lead singer is so talented in so many ways... they use a good mix of keyboard and acoustic and everything about them is absolutely amazing... 1. Closer 9/10 - The track i listen to least, but is still very high quality and def worth $.99 2. Bad Habits 9/10 - very well written and performed and very catchy 3. You're Making It Come Alive 10/10 - one of my fav tracks. the best lyrics ive heard bar none 4. Unaware 9.5/10 - amazing acoustic song 5. Calendar Marks 9.5/10 - prob the best acoustic song ive heard very deep lyrics and extremely well written this band still blows me away and How To Call A Bluff (my fav song by them) Murder On The Radio, and The Worst Way To Retaliate are def worth another $2.97...

join the highway.

i applaud 'my favorite highway' in the fact that they have come out into this world with their own sound as opposed to so many bands who do their own rendition of how to save a life. this guys voice is different, but somehow captivating. the variation of songs is good too. a full length album by these guys would rock everyones world. peace.

virginia is for lovers

yes, my favorite highway seems to have come out of the wodwork because, frankly, my state just recently found some good bands. They're pop, but theyre not preppy...strongly recomend going to see them live if you can, theyre amazing acoustic, as well, if you ever get the chance. If anyone was curious, theyre all pretty hot from a girls perspective, but their music is definately the first thing everyone should be taken with, its hard not to be upon first listen...

Years Active: '00s

My Favorite Highway are headquartered in northern Virginia, where cousins Dave and Will Cook formed the pop/rock combo in January 2006. Musicians cycled in and out of the lineup for several years, including guitarists Andrew Goldstein (who left later that year to front his own band, Friday Night Boys) and Brian Morgenthaler (whose brother Bobby handles drums for the group). With permanent guitarist Pat Jenkins on board, the band began crafting songs culled from a number of influences, from the punky...
