Beethoven
Mendelssohn's Capriccio retains all the magic and passion I felt many years ago when I first heard it played by Gargiulo on the island of Capri. The rendition of the Appassionata is fantastic and I can only compare it with Rubinstein's. Bravo!
huh?
ok first of all... all his songs are so.. different from what you would think it would sound like he has good things and bad for the mendelssohn capriccio, the melody in the top notes of the right hand did not come out fluently neither were they entirely audible He starts of the presto agitato part in a ridiculously fast manner it is presto, but it isn't rushed He uses rubato in places where unnecessary the introduction was choppy, flat, and boring However, few parts were brilliant and nice overall, this is average and not worth buying but if you do, hehe enjoy
