Good listening!
I can not believe there are no reviews. Well I just started listening to this bad and I am a seasoned vet Metal guy. If you like your metal a little on the lighter more old school side, than this if for you. Good clean yet listenable vocals along w/ good old screamin , growels, a nice mix . Guitar and drum work is very nice this band realy comes together for a realy good sound. I know I gave it a three star but the more i listen the more i like it. Enjoy!

A very nice 80's sound if you ask me and I'm not very big on the 80's, but this I like! Weird that this is only the second review of such an incredible album!

Like many heavy metal bands from Denmark, Mercenary had to patiently wait out the early '90s before drawing any record company attention away from the Swedish and Norwegian behemoths raging just to the north. Formed in 1991 by vocalist/bassist Kral (aka Hans Henrik Andersen), the band would work in relative anonymity until 1998, when they finally landed a deal for a debut album they aptly called First Breath.
